car trouble

OK so last week was very interesting for me...so first on Wednesday i get home and pull my car up in front of my house...and all of a sudden i get a phone call so i turn my car off and start talking then i grab my purse and stuff lock the doors close it and the keys are still sitting in there...but it could have been worse at least i was at home...so i have to call my dad to come home and unlock it for me...but better yet the next day was the Chicago trip....we are already in Chicago when i get the word that i left the head lights on in my car.....we didn't get back 'till almost 8 that evening...so of course i get there and my car is dead....i had to get a jump and have not had any problems since so hopefully it stays that way...

we went to 2 different libraries in Chicago...they were both really neat...and didn't get back 'till almost 8...so today we had a half day at work...which is great because its a Friday...and I'm going out later..yay

well i don't have much to say this early in the morning...(its almost noon..lol..) but last night i went and played basketball with some friends...that was fun...my team won both games...other than that i don't really have anything else exciting to say...

yea so today i almost got killed...some guy almost smashed me between the book shelves in the law library...after that i got lost in the basement of the law library...and could not find the door i came through because the one i thought i came through said "fire exit only alarm will sound"...so i found a different elevator...finally i found my way out...the end of my day was kinda fun...i learned about micro-film....it was fun putting that in the machine....

Today is my last day at St. Marys and I was talking to the director here and she told me about openings they have....she took me over to talk to Lisa (who is the circulation librarian) and i got the job at the circulation desk...that is so awesome i cant wait to start...:-)

This article discusses how women who use cocaine and are pregnant are malnourished. This puts harm to the unborn child and could cause many problems to the child once it is born. A big problem for the child is being disfigured. It is not right for a child to be born like this if the parent has a choice to prevent it. Often if the mother can not take care of the child if she can not even take care of herself.

orientation at SMC

so yesterday i had orientation at st. Marys...although it took ALL day it was really fun...i happened to be the only girl without my parents there (as far as i know) ...but i was the only person from in town also so its all good...and it just made me feel more independent...the most exciting part was getting my ID and e-mail address i guess its because it makes if feel more real...all the people there were really helpful and nice...so that just makes it all the more exciting to start school...we also got to eat in the dining hall at st. mary's...yummy...well i don't have anything interesting to say about today other than it was just another day at work..and I'll talk to ya'll later....

ok so on Friday i was in the archives at saint Mary's scanning pictures as usual...and all of a sudden the scanner stopped working but i didn't break it i swear...anyways my weekend was great...despite the rain we still went to Chicago and went shopping and had lots of fun just hanging out...i also went to the drive in movies up there which was pretty neat...

ok so whatever Joel and IB-Akuna-ma-ta-ta said in their blog...they don't know what there talking about...I'm awesome...lol...but anyways I'm going to have a fun weekend...right after work i will be on my way to Chicago to visit so cousins...and i wont be back 'till Sunday...(I Cant Wait)...yay!!...well right now I'm at saint mary's in the archives and john was just telling me a little history on this school which is very interesting...here is something i didn't know until he just told me...here and all around other places they have picked entire buildings and houses up and moved them....one of the buildings that have been moved and rotated is the old court house....and he also knows of a house that has been moved 3 times...well should get back to work...so I'll talk to ya'll later...

My book is about women under the influence. This book will help me with my research because it discusses how women get addicted and what these addictions can do to a person. This book also talks about pregnancy and the effects it could have children. It also gives ways to prevent substance abuse and treatment that can be provided to women.

rain rain go away

hey guys...! so right now I'm sitting in the engineering library and typing another blog entry....yesterday was a really fun day... Sardius and i went on a little scavenger hunt...it was actually quite fun except for a few glitches the i will tell u more about when the rest of the teams are done with there little adventure...the prize at the end of the scavenger hunt for the team who does the best is a free lunch...(yummy)...sounds good to me...well anyways today so far i've gone to preservation where we tore strips papar...and we left that early to go and work on our web page...(which i had no idea how to do)...then from there was grace hall where we ate lunch...and now i'm in engineering and i should probably get back to work...so i'll talk to ya'll later...

yea so right now i am at Saint Mary's working....i am sitting in the archives scanning pictures....and it is so so so cold down here and i even have on a hoodie and i am still shivering...while in the mean time it is like 90 degrees outside...but i would much rather be outside in the heat than here in what feels like the north pole...! I'm getting kinda bored with this scanning so i think i might go remove some staples from papers...fun..fun..

hey everyone so i guess u haven't heard from me in a couple days but don't worry everything is good lol...I've just been a bit busy i guess...but today was awesome...we had lunch at grace hall...and it was much better than the cold sandwiches I've been eating latley...and i have not been running in like 2 days so i guess i really need to get on that...other than that everything is the same...so i think im going to turn in early tonight....so good night everyone...

so my day started off kinda bad because i was at saint Mary's (which is where my schedule said to go) and all i did was pull tons of staples out (but shh..that was actually better than scanning pictures believe it or not..) then all of a sudden i start getting texts saying where am i..d am i coming to the meeting..we are waiting on you??...and i never read the bottom of the schedule so i didn't even know i was supposed to be there....so then i ran all the way out to my car and sped down the street to the other library and ran all the was inside...so that was kinda crazy...but from there my day got much better...we learned about how to be a good employee...then had lunch...and the best part was going over to the rare books collection and seeing all of the unique things...finally we went and took a tour around the IUSB library...and got to go home a little early...oh yea...during lunch we also got to know the students from Valpo..and IUSB...and we all had to ask one other person questions and introduce them to everyone else...i thought that was fun...and it was cool because everyone at my lunch table ran track...

so i guess i have a full weekend i am currently hanging out with my little cousins and my tia teresa we might go shopping in a little while (fun..fun)...i also have some cousins coming in from Florida tomorrow...that should be interesting...well i don't have much to tell you right now considering i have not done anything yet other than clean the house and shower...

ahh its finally Friday and I'm just about to complete my first week of library work :-) today i went over to saint Mary's and just scanned a bunch of pictures...then lunch where i met Joel at Wendy's...and once again i went over to engineering and shifted books :-( and now I'm sitting in 221 typing my blog entry...I'm not really sure what these things are supposed to look like or what exactly I'm supposed to talk about but that was just a little bit of what i did today so far...but i think I'm starting to like this blog thing because i figured out how to add pictures and color to my page...
